About Stan & Naomi
Just a little bit about our story
Stan & I began our life together almost 30 years ago. When we fell in love and got married, we blended our two families together, he had 3 children and I had 4. We had a few challenges along the way, as all families do, but we worked them out. I have to say the years we’ve had togeather have been wonderful, happy ones.
Now all our children are grown with families of their own, so we get to enjoy our grandkids. I love that saying, “If I’d known how fun grandkids were, I’d have had them first.”
We have a small logging business. It provided a good life style and made us a comfortable living. In Dec. 2008, all the sawmills in Montana shut down so we didn’t have a market for our logs. We knew we would have to find another way to generate some income, so we decided to try the biggest marketplace in the world, the Internet.
Stan was doing his due diligence checking out opportunities on the internet, and believe me there’s a lot of things out there to take your attention as well as your money. What we found as we checked out numerous websites, opportunities etc. is there’s a lot of stuff out there that sounds good, but when you check it out, you realize it’s not so good.
I’ve always been fascinated with anything to do with personal development, the mind, our attitude, etc. I found a personal development company that seemed to be just what we were looking for, they had a good compensation plan along with great products. We jumped in with both feet, did their home study coarse, which was awesome, and proceeded to build a home based business.
The rewards we’ve realized since then, personal growth, great friendships etc., that we’ve gained are worth so much. There have been times of extreme frustration as well as times of wonderful inspiration, but one thing we promised each other was “Quitting is not an option!”. I’m not going to tell you this online journey has been a cake walk because it hasn’t. I’t’s been a lot of hard work and alot of time spent learning the things we needed to learn in order to succeed. There has to be a very strong committment to a very clear dream in order to get the results you want.
One thing we would encourage anyone to do that is thinking of starting an online home based business is to find a personal coach. Stan & I realize now that our business would have grown lots faster with a coach. People in the professional sports world would never dream of going into a game without a coach, so it’s just as important to have a coach in a business environment.
We’ve had some failures along the way but as Thomas Edison said when he was trying to build the light bulb, ” I didn’t have 999 failures, I just tried that many things that didn’t work. Without some struggles along the way we can’t really appreciate the successes.
We’re still on this incredible journey and it’s been so worthwhile. We’ve learned so much that we can use to help others to realize their dream. Our clear intention is to help others in whatever way we can.
Thanks for taking the time out of your busy life to spend with us.
Just realize that if we can do this you can do it too!!
